We are looking for a Personal Chef to join a private family in the scenic area of Doubleview, providing part-time culinary services that cater to the sophisticated tastes and dietary preferences of two adults and a teenager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning: Design weekly menus that meet the family’s dietary requirements and preferences, including 4 dinners, 4 packable lunches, and 2 snack options.
- Shopping and Supplies Management: Source fresh ingredients and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies needed for meal preparation.
- Meal Preparation: Cook and present high-quality meals that delight and nourish the family.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the private kitchen facility, ensuring a hygienic environment.
Desirable Criteria:
- Proven experience as a chef, preferably with a background in handling a wide range of nutritious, whole food recipes.
- High level of professionalism with strong communication skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively with other household staff, including a housekeeper.
- Affinity for pets, as the household includes three friendly French Bulldogs.
- Own means of transport.
- Possession/willingness to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
