Job Description

About the Role

The Partnerships and Advocacy Coordinator will support Marist180 in achieving its Mission by establishing new relationships with external organisations for the purpose of extended collaboration, which includes volunteers. Furthermore, this role will coordinate the delivery of Advocacy, Forums for the People We Serve.

The duties will include but not limited to:

  • Sourcing suitable partners for collaboration on funding application submissions
  • Establishing and maintaining, with the HR/People team, volunteer recruitment, support and retention
  • Establishing and maintaining partner relationships during the funding application process
  • Negotiating Letters of Support, Referral Protocols, and Memorandums of Understanding with funding application partners
  • Managing transition of partner relationships to relevant Directorate staff following successful tender outcomes
  • Participating in partner review processes
  • Coordinating Advisory Forums for People We Serve
  • Channelling feedback from Advisory Forums to head of Directorates
Desired Skills and Experience

Skills Required:

  • Experience in interagency relationship management and in drafting partnership document
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good working relationships
  • Ability to take initiative in addressing requirements of partnerships
  • Superior emotional resilience and flexibility in working practices
  • Events or project management experience is highly desirable

Desirable:

Qualifications relating to the following areas of study would be an advantage in performing this role: Marketing, Project Management, Communications

Essential Requirements:

  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children’s Check
