What’s the role?
This 12 month contract is a vital part of the Fundraising and Marketing team for the 91 years young Good Friday Appeal. The role reports to the Head of Fundraising and Communications and supports the fundraising requirements for fundraisers, partners and the fundraising and marketing/communications team with a focus on growth and innovative programs and events.
- Sits within a small dynamic team where an ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and activities will enable our incredible and passionate supporters of the Good Friday Appeal reach their fundraising goals.
- As a relationship oriented person, you will support the prospecting and onboarding process of new fundraisers, providing exceptional customer service, advice and assistance.
- Your keen eye for detail and experience in CRM systems will ensure smooth delivery of campaigns and events, and that our community and corporate fundraisers are well informed and acknowledged.
- Includes coordination of fundraiser communications materials and assets, go to market documents and collateral, working with the marketing team to ensure all communications align with Good Friday Appeal key messaging and brand values.
Who are you?
- You have proven experience in the coordination and assisting with the delivery of campaigns, events or projects.
- You have strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and excellent communication skills
- You have the ability to work to dynamic timelines, with great organisational and time management skills.
- Your experience in collaborating, providing support and working with a small dynamic team means you have great people skills for working across the spectrum of our multiple stakeholders - fundraisers, partners, suppliers, volunteers.
- You are a keen solution provider, with a flair for some out of the box thinking with a minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, media, fundraising, account management, event management, sales or other customer facing roles.
- You have been looking for the right purpose to spend your hard earned skills and talents on.
- Advanced user of Google suite and MS Office required, and experience with Salesforce, Asana, and Canva desirable

Who are we?
The Good Friday Appeal is an iconic not-for-profit charity established to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital. Since 1931, the Appeal has raised $421 million to fund research, equipment, education, training and patient centred care programs at the hospital.
The Good Friday Appeal is supported by a small team who works closely with our generous partners, supporters, collection groups and volunteers who come together in the spirit of raising funds for the hospital.
