Warehouse / Storeperson (picker/packer)
Forklift license an advantage

Must be available to work Mon- Fri.
6:00am -2:30pm.

MUST HAVE:
- Satisfactory driving history record
- possess a minimum twelve months’ or more experience working in a busy warehouse and distribution environment within FMCG.
- possess appropriate qualifications and licenses for safe equipment operation in accordance with Licensing regulations.
- proven customer service and communication skills.
- prior experience working with food handling in FMCG environment.
- sound knowledge of metropolitan and regional routes and roads
The employee would be engaged as a Storeperson picking goods and materials, allocating and retrieving goods. The employee will be a back up to our current Delivery drivers and be prepared to drive the trucks and deliver (only) if necessary. The employee would process documentation and undertake basic computer data entry and is responsible for general and good housekeeping practices and would use non-licensed material handling equipment.
However, the employee at this level would have (12) twelve month’s experience at J.C.’s Quality Foods and be able to operate with less supervision, work from detailed instructions, SOP’s and follow procedures as required.
- pick and process customer orders with a strong focus on picking of STE and runs.
- check orders to ensure accuracy.
- operate Shrink Wrap equipment.
- advise supervisor of pick location errors, Identify and report inferior or stock damage, stock contamination, product date issues in a timely manner.
- undertake designated tasks assigned by Warehouse Manager and ad hoc warehousing duties as required.
- attend and assist in all designated Stock take activities (including Overtime as required).
- Must ensure that food safety guidelines are being constantly followed during picking, packing, and distribution of orders.

- safeguard J.C.’s Quality Foods Quality Assurance framework ensuring work practices comply with relevant Australian and International Quality Standards.

- undertake structured training to enable the employee to work at higher levels.
- undertake interactive workplace communication eg. Toolbox Meetings.
