Pathology Laboratory Aide - Histology Department

Southern.IML Pathology has a vacancy for a Laboratory Pathology Aide to work full time hours for a contract period of 7 months.  This is a Maternity relief Position in the Histology Department of our Wollongong laboratory. 

The successful applicant must be highly motivated, keen to learn and able to work quickly and accurately in a busy department.   This position will require involvement in many Histology processes.

Essential criteria:

-Deal with customers (internal and external) in a professional manner.

-Ability to use positive language using clear communication.

-Accuracy demonstrating the ability to pay attention to details.

-Proven trouble shooting skills to resolve matters as they arise.

-Be proactive in dealing with customers.

-Multitask

-Ability to work independently and co-operatively in a busy department.

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will be rostered on shifts between 7.30am to 3.30pm.
