RESPONSIBLE FOR: This role is responsible for the logistics and administration of the Pathways activities, including VNSW teams in national championship events, coach & official education and Regional Academy program engagement.

POSITION SUMMARY
This role consists of three core elements within the VNSW Pathway. To deliver the logistics of the Phoenix teams in National Championship events, be responsible for the administration of the education portfolio and coordination of the relationship with Regional Academies of Sport (RASi).
The person in this role will hold a key role in the administration of the Pathways department at VNSW and will need to have a keen eye for detail along with a good understanding of travel logistics, including the support of underage athletes.
It is critical that the person in this role has the proficient ability to operate in a small team, maximising the resources available to deliver on agreed outcomes. They must be able to effectively use the MS Suite of programs and be open to learning internal systems, including databases, online platforms and reporting processes.
This role will be required to travel interstate and intrastate. Prior knowledge of Volleyball is not required.
KEY FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES
PHOENIX PROGRAM DELIVERY
- Plan and deliver on the logistics of start to finish State Team activities.
- Support the Pathways department with localised training and support services required for the Phoenix Performance Program.
- Communication lead for all Athlete, Coach & Support Staff within the Phoenix Program
EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION
- Administer the coach and referee accreditation process in NSW with Volleyball Australia
- Support the coordination of education programs, courses and learning opportunities for coaches & officials
REGIONAL ACADEMIES OF SPORT DELIVERY
- Support the RASi network indoor and beach volleyball programs aligned to VNSW Strategy
TASKS EXPECTED OF ALL VNSW STAFF
- Assist with the coordination of annual activities, including Club Workshops and the AGM
- Maintain & increase brand awareness for all VNSW Products throughout the community
- Equipment maintenance, including storage
- General office management, including maintenance, answering phones, booking meeting rooms etc
- Management of Website & Facebook etc specific to role
- Development, review & updating of VNSW Policies, Procedures & Regulations
- Assist in the review of any staff or volunteers that a person oversees/is responsible for
- Support at major VNSW Events and activities
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Management from time to time.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
KPIs will be developed in consultation with the successful candidate and relate to the organisational operational plans and budget outcomes for 2024.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
- The role is a full-time role, of 38 hours per week within a flexible structure paid fortnightly
- Salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 per annum plus Superannuation depending on experience
- The position will require some out of hours work along with intrastate and interstate travel
- Four weeks annual leave and ten days personal leave applies on a pro rata basis
- Annual performance reviews will be conducted

PREFERED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience delivering on operational plans, budgets & reporting
- Experience in delivering on travel and support services for groups
- Customer/member centric
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in sport administration, pathways or education roles preferred
- Drivers License
- Working With Children Check
- Senior First Aid / CPR
