An opportunity has become available for a professional and motivated Patient Care Assistant to join the friendly and dedicated team at our Subiaco branch located within the St John of God Hospital in Subiaco.

Our Patient Care Assistants play an integral part in the team by providing a high standard of care for our patients in the areas of patient care, patient transfer and support to our technical staff. They are responsible for assisting with the transfer, transport and care of hospital in-patients to and from SKG and will be required to take on additional departmental tasks as directed.

- The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Previous experience in patient care
- Be able to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases
A Certificate III in Health Service Assistance/Health Support Services or similar will be an advantage.
Please note that this role will involve the transportation and transfer of patients and as such the successful candidate must be physically fit to undertake all duties required for the position. Applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment health and fitness examination.
This position is Full Time, 75 hours per fortnight. Participation in the weekend roster is required.
