About the role 

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will support the nursing team to deliver safe, quality Patient Care. You will be supported at all times under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Patient Care Assistant role in Pool offers flexibility and diversity, and enables you to support the team or individuals directly.

Eastern Health offers a supported orientation which provides our Patient Care Assistants with the skills and capabilities to work across a variety of areas including acute, subacute and Residential Aged Care. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Previous experience will be highly regarded
• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent)
• Computer skills
• A strong commitment to safe, quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
