The roles
Patient Liaison Administrators are responsible for guiding patients through the administrative and financial aspects associated with commencement and continuation as a patient at Tas IVF. The Patient Liaison Administrator provides a professional, welcoming, organised and compassionate approach to patient interaction.
Both roles require compassion and sensitivity to the needs of our patients undergoing fertility treatments. We believe your strong customer service skills will contribute significantly to the provision of the world class care we deliver.
PLA Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provision of cost estimates
- Conducting individualised patient information sessions
- Appointment scheduling for patients and management of patient information on a database
- Receipting fees, daily bank reconciliation and invoicing
- Liaison across TasIVF departments (Accounts, Nursing, Donor, Lab) and with Fertility Specialists/Medical Receptionists.
- Debt Recovery
Key Skills:
- Patient services/medical receptionist experience desirable
- Attention to detail
- Integrity and a ‘can do’ approach
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Medicare and patient billing experience
- Demonstrated experience in exceptional customer service
- A high level of computer literacy – oral and written communication skills
- Ability to show empathy and understanding to patients.
- Accounts Receivable/Collections experience desirable
Qualifications:
- Year 12 or equivalent
