Due to our continued growth, we currently have a position for a qualified Patisserie/Pastry Chef at our West Heidelberg manufacturing facility.
Working within our production team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in the bakery or cake industry
- Formal industry qualification
- Organisational skills
- Masking
- Lifting involved
- Eye for quality
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable, dedicated and a commitment to quality
- A hands on and 'can do' approach to getting the job done
- The ability to work at a fast pace and manage deadlines in a team environment
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and HACCP regulations (Current Food Handling Certificate essential)
- A proven ability to work effectively within a team
- An ability to take directions
