We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedPayments Tester with GPP experience to join one of Australia’s leading banking clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing payment systems, specifically Global Payment Platform (GPP). The GPP Payments Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of payment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end testing of the GPP, including but not limited to transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. Execute test cases to validate the functionality and performance of GPP payment systems.
- Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that system enhancements or changes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct integration testing with third-party systems, banking partners, and external interfaces.
Requirements:
- Experienced in software testing, with a focus on payment systems.
- Proven experience with GPP testing is essential.
- Strong understanding of payment processing concepts, including transaction lifecycle, clearing, and settlement.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA) and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
