We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing, including wages/salaries, deductions, superannuation, and taxes, for client and its associated entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all aspects of payroll, including wages/salaries, according to timesheets and employment conditions, leveraging 3 to 5 years of experience
- Process employee changes and updates promptly and efficiently.
- Disperse various payroll deductions, superannuation, and taxes accurately.
- Complete month and year-end payroll tasks, including reconciliation and reporting.
- Administer Workers Compensation case documentation and payments, liaising with insurers and employees as necessary
- Provide monthly and ad-hoc reporting as directed by HR management.
- Assist with payroll software maintenance and upgrades, ensuring system integrity and accuracy.
- Support the implementation and integration of new payroll systems, including training and guidance for users.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll or related finance roles.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security ID Card (ASIC) for airport employment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and other relevant tools.
