We’re on the lookout for an engaging and experienced Payroll and Remuneration Manager to lead our ANZ team within our Global Head Office in Laverton, Victoria. In this fast-paced,hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely processing of the Nufarm Australian and New Zealand payroll as well as holding a key role in supporting with regional compensation, benchmarking and related activities, including the annual salary and incentive review cycle.

What will you be doing? 

• Manage end-to-end processing of Nufarm’s Australian & New Zealand payroll - process wages and salaries, leave applications, commencements, terminations, probationary reviews, salary increments, superannuation, overtime, allowances, incentives, workers compensation and any payroll variations 
• Manage P&P/Payroll personnel files and records for Australian and New Zealand employees in a current and accurate form within the payroll system (currently Preceda & IMS) 
• Providing training, support and leadership to our Payroll Officer 
• Work with the People & Performance Business Partners to identify process improvement opportunities (contracts, policy, process, system etc) and work within the team to implement
• Payroll reporting to meet internal and legislative obligations including taxation and superannuation changes, legal, ethical and professional standards 
• Monitor compensation trends and review market data to benchmark compensation structures/packages for levels, functions and individual roles and compile recommendation reports for management. 
• Liaising with peers across the regions to ensure alignment (where appropriate) and to leverage best practice in the ANZ region 
• Lead job profiling and job mapping initiatives, to support organisational design and alignment to the operating model 
• Designs and implements ANZ regional incentive plan ensuring alignment to global incentive frameworks, and working with Global Rem Lead and Global HR Analyst to coordinate the Regional Incentive Programs and assist in the Global and Regional STI process including invitations and outcomes. 
• Responsible for reporting to meet internal (including finance) and legislative obligations, including the annual Workplace Gender Equality Report 

What do you bring?

You’re an experienced Payroll Manager who brings demonstrated experience within a high-volume and complex, end to end payroll environment across Australia and New Zealand region. You ideally bring experience with Ceridian Preceda and SuccessFactors and you are comfortable operating in a hands-on role. 

Proactive and results driven, you have an eye for detail and a curiosity to continue learning and growing. You bring a strong customer centric mindset, building trust when handling payroll queries andare passionate about delivering positive outcomes. Your background understanding key business drivers including People and Performance, Finance, Diversity and Inclusion and Remuneration will put you ahead of the pack!
