THE ROLE

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer who wants to be fast tracked into Management and gain leadership experience. Work in a supportive team culture with excellent progression opportunities to step up your career and assist the Payroll Manager with the team of 6.

· Assisting with the implementation work
· Assisting the Payroll Manager with reviewing payroll that has been processed
· Assisting Payroll Team with the accuracy and completion of payroll, calculations, and lodgements of PAYG and Payroll Tax
· Following up with any escalations
· Provide continued training, coaching and developing team

THE PERSON

· Minimum 5 years' experience with end-to-end payroll
· Experience dealing with escalations and complaints
· Ability to support a team
· Able to handle complex situations
· Superior understanding of ATO legislation related to payroll
· Excellent communication skills
· Proactive and a can-do attitude with a focus on getting things done
