SalaryWe’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bring their expertise and play a pivotal role in the requirements gathering, scope definitions, process documentation, solution identification to support business outcomes. As part of a People & Culture (P&C) project team, you’ll work with Delivery Leads across People & Culture, ERP, Payroll, Security and Governance on operational and continuous improvement initiatives.As our Senior Business Analyst, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes to our critical processes that make our business hum, so Transurban can continue to shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful and challenging work.Day-to-day, you will:
- Gather requirements from various stakeholders and the project team and present ‘As-Is’ business processes
- Facilitate requirements gathering and exploring solution options to arrive at a preferred “To-Be” state
- Confident in handling detailed data mapping requirements, information flows and creation of supporting documentation for delivery teams
- Support business stakeholders in user acceptance testing where appropriate
- Act as an interface between ERP support team, functional and project team
- Provide business analysis and subject matter expertise to process owners
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead delivery of improvement activities
- Ensure knowledge management is documented and retained for future use
- Support change management and transition to BAU related activities to help to ensure end user adoption of new tools, systems and/or business processes
- Experience in Business analysis (including operational efficiencies, process design and improvement), and have worked across multiple phases of the systems development life cycle (i.e. from business case development to implementation and benefits realisation)
- Experience working within an Agile project delivery methodology
- Experience with Workday HCM, iChris or other payroll systems
- Project and/ or BAU business improvement delivery experience in a Business Analyst role
- Detailed understanding of business processes and the ability to design and interpret process maps
- An ability to engage and elicit complex requirements from stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visio or Miro
- Analytical thinker with highly developed problem-solving skills
- A self starter with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and delivery of tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with stakeholders at both the Executive and Operational levels
