To support their expansive transformation and growth targets, we are seeking a P&C Business Partner to provide strategic insights that support business decisions.
The Leaders
This role reports directly to the Head of People & Culture who is an experienced and supportive people leader. This position also forms part of a larger, sophisticated HR function with Centre of Excellence verticals, providing the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts and partner with them across L&D, ER, Reward, Talent and Engagement.
The Opportunity
You will act as a vital conduit to General Managers and Senior Leaders within a dynamic environment, forging strong stakeholder relationships and implementing the established People strategy while ensuring smooth collaboration with the wider P&C team. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Actively engaging in the practical execution of our client's comprehensive people strategy, aligning your efforts with the organisation's vision;
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with People Leaders across the company, gaining a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and communicating these to the broader P&C team;
- Collaborating with various business functions including CoE teams, IT, Payroll, and Finance to address and develop innovative solutions for people-related issues;
- Participating in a wide range of generalist HR activities across the employee lifecycle to ensure a seamless and positive employee experience;
- Coaching business leaders to enhance their capabilities, leveraging CoE resources to maximise effectiveness in leadership development;
- Influencing stakeholders and securing buy-in while addressing people issues. This involves clearly communicating risks and outlining pathways to well-considered solutions; and
- Analysing the root causes of leadership needs, communicating people statistics to the business, and assessing People & Culture performance to ensure continuous improvement.
This role is aligned to someone who is an early-stage P&C Business Partner or a senior P&C Advisor from an array of backgrounds. What is important is your superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with senior leaders to be able to coach, guide and influence. Strong commercial acumen is key, being able to tie People decisions to commercial outcomes.
Coupled with this will be your background, passion for collaboration, knack for solving people-related issues, and ideally, exposure to a large HR function with CoE teams.
