The Consumer or Carer Peer Support Worker will provide Peer Support for Healthy Ageing Service (HAS) consumers or carers. They will contribute knowledge, skills and expertise from their lived experience as a mental health consumer or carer of someone experiencing mental health concerns.
- Support the assessment of consumer needs
- Participate in community development activities including education of other professionals and consumer groups
- Support in the delivery of HAS Group Program
Your Contribution
- A current Victorian driver’s licence
- Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
- Qualification in health, education or welfare studies

HAS delivers mental health services to older adults with, or at risk of experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns via an Outreach Brief Intervention Model of Care. HAS is a prevention/early intervention service with a strong focus on Health Promotion.
