The Role
The Project Finance Coordinator will play a critical part in the administration of projects across a number of our Australian studios. Based in-studio, you’ll report to the Studio Commercial Lead as part of the Sydney support team, accurately preparing and issuing invoices, assisting with accounts receivable follow-up and collection processes, and ensuring compliance with internal financial standards and protocols.
This role works across several project teams and studio locations, requiring financial acumen, a sharp attention to detail, and inherent organisational skills. You’ll be tracking and supporting several projects at any given time, whilst providing reporting/budgeting support to the Sydney Commercial Lead and Group Finance Manager.
About You
If you have demonstrated experience in project-based finance and administration, we’d like to hear from you!
The successful candidate will have 3 – 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping, project invoicing and accounts administration, ideally in professional services firms.
Although experience in a design firm is not essential, demonstrated experience in landscape architecture, architecture, urban design, engineering, or construction will be highly regarded.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Outcome driven, and thrives when able to be productive in a fast-paced environment,
- Detailed oriented, and committed to best practice,
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset,
- A warm and professional communicator, with a natural ability to develop collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders;
- Tech savvy – Advanced-level Excel and experience using financial/project management systems is essential; and
- Aligned to our Purpose, and seeking to join an organisation that contributes to our communities in a positive and tangible way.
The person in this role will receive training and mentorship by experienced finance leaders, while playing a vital role in the success of industry leading design projects, not only in Sydney but across Australia.
If that sounds exciting to you, we invite you to reach out!
