An exciting opportunity exists for a People and Culture Manager to join our team and play an important role in Respect Victoria, leading and driving long term systemic change in the prevention of family violence and all forms of violence against women.
The People and Culture Business Partner is responsible for delivering People and Culture support, expert advice and activities related to talent management, culture and engagement, organisational capability, health, safety and wellbeing, governance and reporting, in accordance with the Respect Victoria People Plan. Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture and working closely with the Business Support Officer, you will partner with the business to develop, implement and support People and Culture practices for our small workforce to build a capable and diverse team, who apply their expertise and live our values of Integrity, Leadership and Courage. You will be a vibrant team player who supports a safe and inclusive workplace that fosters wellbeing, engagement and productivity with contemporary people practices. You will deliver advice and coaching to support consistent and effective management of day-to-day People and Culture activities e.g., recruitment and onboarding, performance management, learning and development, workforce data analysis and reporting, occupational health, safety and wellbeing.
Respect Victoria
Respect Victoria was established as a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018 on the 4th October 2018. We have a broad focus on the primary prevention of family violence and violence against women in Victoria, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide state-wide leadership to create social, institutional, organisational and community change.

Essential skills
- Partnering with the business to provide advice through provision of consultancy-based service across the full suite of human resource functions
- Coordination of recruitment and retention activities aligned with the organisation's People and Culture Strategy.
Desirable experience
- Scoping, planning, developing, and/or managing People and Culture practice and policy, projects and implementation initiatives
- Resolving People and Culture operational problems and issues being experienced by a workforce
- Undertaking research and analysis and writing comprehensive reports, business cases, and information documents related to People and Culture initiatives to identify emerging trends and contemporary best practice in the areas of human resource practice with a view to enhancing capability across the organisation
