You will play an integral part in the implementation and delivery of a broad range of People & Culture initiatives across the full employee lifecycles including talent attraction, employee experience, workforce strategy, industrial relations, and organisational design.
Working across and with the business, you will seek to identify ways to continuously improve capability, engaging and coach people leaders to deliver innovative people solutions as well as;
- Support operations with a variety of cultural, organisational and business change initiatives;
- Work with the wider P&C Team for integration works to align systems and process, to achieve people strategy;
- Applying best practice for the resolution of escalation enquiries from Tier 1 & 2 team;
- Provide leadership guidance and coaching, aligning to organisational values
- Have a hands-on approach to jump in, assist with paperwork, administration and general HR administration activities as required;
- Timely and effective end to end case management including ER/IR matters and interpretations across the employee lifecycle;
- Provide high level support and assistance for Line Managers for recruitment and selection processes
- Application of commercial acumen, to link People and business strategy and
- Provide insights into data to make evidence-based recommendations.
As a passionate P&C professional, you will bring significant generalist experience to the table, enabling you to partner with business leaders to a provide strategic, advisory, and operational HR support to people leaders.
In order to be successful in this role you will;
- Hold relevant qualifications in human resources, related field or relevant industry experience.
- Have demonstrated experience in a similar HR role with a sound knowledge of contemporary HR strategies and practices, including strong performance management and employee relations experience.
- Demonstrated experience in organisational design, development and change management.
- Resourceful and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a changing environment.
- Proven experience building and maintaining productive client relationships with a diverse group of key stakeholders, partnering with the business and acting as a trusted adviser for the end-to-end management of client operational HR needs.
- The ability to make rational and sound decisions based on consideration of the facts and the alternatives, sometimes with incomplete information.
- High level coaching skills at both an organisational and individual level
- Consistently demonstrates personal behaviours that uphold our values of Be Kind, Be Curious, Listening, Always Together and Always Safe.
- Some travel requirements for the role is required to support statewide teams.
