Your New Role
Are you an experienced human resources (HR) all-rounder looking for a diverse and rewarding role, or someone with a genuine interest in learning about HR and growing a career in this field? If so, we would love to hear from you!
The successful candidate will be working closely with PHA’s People & Culture (P&C) Consultant, across a diverse range of human resources, administrative and related projects and tasks. This could include:
- Supporting recruitment and employee onboarding
- Organising learning and development and employee wellbeing activities
- Developing and/or reviewing policies and procedures
- Supporting employee engagement and reward/recognition projects and initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a human resources-related role or at least a keen interest in learning more about HR, P&C and related areas
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail
- The ability to exercise sound judgement, prioritise work and manage multiple projects and tasks.
You might also have formal qualifications in HR or a related field, although this is not essential.
The position is based in the PHA office in Canberra and is available on a full-time or part-time (minimum of about 21 hours per week) basis for an initial period of two years.
