As the People & Culture Lead for the project, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and initiatives that align with contractual obligations. This will include D&I initiatives, opportunities for the local community and minority groups. You will be instrumental in developing workforce plans, mobilization plans for operations, HR strategies, and training strategies to support project lifecycles.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop programs and initiatives to meet participation targets
- Establish school-based pathways and promote career opportunities in the transport industry
- Create training programs to develop Industry skills among our workforce and create career pathways
- engage with local communities to foster positive relationships and support project objectives
- Develop workforce plans to align with project lifecycles and ensure staffing needs are and contractual obligations are met
- Collaborate with GM P&C and Industrial Relations teams to manage challenges effectively
- Foster positive working relationships with local union officials and representatives
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Extensive experience in HR management, in a project-based construction environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with internal and external stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Experience in change management and managing industrial relations challenges
