About the Team
The RDO People & Culture (P&C) Advisory team are a key group within the business operations.
The Advisory team are a collaborative, supportive and developing team, primarily tasked with supporting leaders and employees across our Branch operations from Northern Territory to Tasmania, Support Office locations and our Head office in Brisbane. Not one day is ever the same!
The primary aspects of the P&C Advisory team include - provision of tailored advice and coaching on performance and conduct matters, investigating grievances, risk mitigation and compliance, contributing to the development of leaders, promoting a healthy work environment, along with interpretation and ensuring the correct application of policies, procedures, and industrial instruments.
This is a full-time role, primarily based at one of our Brisbane Support Offices at either Loganholme or Richlands, however there will be a need to travel to various sites as required to support our people leaders working in the field.
Our P&C Business Partner will oversee a set portfolio and partner with the business to ensure all matters arising in their portfolio, or as assigned, are suitably prioritised and attended to in a timely manner.

Whilst you will be given all the support you need to be successful, our ideal candidate for this role will be sufficiently experienced to hit the ground running and will be comfortable working with a diverse group of people managers with a diverse range of needs and priorities.
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Demonstrated experience as a human resources generalist, with a deep knowledge and capability in the employee relations space with minimum 5-7 years of experience.
- A proactive approach to work with the self-motivation and drive to achieve, backed-up with grit and resilience to see tasks through to completion.
- Sound ability to interpret legislation and to provide advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and with an attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and ensure no ball gets dropped.
- The ability and confidence to influence colleagues and the decisions of senior stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or related field essential
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or other service-based industries ideal but not essential.
