We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Mid-Level HR Support Officer to support our People Engagement Manager The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in human resources principles and practices, coupled with exceptional organizational and communication skills. This role will involve providing comprehensive HR support across various functions, contributing to the smooth operation of HR processes, and assisting in fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Role Expectations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the resolution of employee relations issues through effective communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in conducting investigations and documentation related to employee complaints or grievances.
- Manage HR documentation, including employee contracts, personnel files, and compliance records.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics as needed.
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure organisational compliance.
- Support the People Engagement Manager in conducting audits and assessments to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures to reflect changes in legislation or company practices.
- Face to face presentation and induction of new starters
- Experience in a HR support role - people facing.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in HR support roles, with a strong understanding of HR processes and practices.
- Proficiency in people management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Understanding and application of employment laws and regulations.
