About the role
An exciting opportunity now exists to join the Day Surgery Unit at Yarra Ranges Health as a Peri-operative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse with no after hours, on-call or weekends. Services operating between Monday and Friday.
You will be joining an enthusiastic team who prioritise excellent quality patient care and teamwork. We are offering Permanent Full-time/Part-time hours to a suitably experienced Scrub/Scout RN/s
Yarra Ranges Health Day Surgery Unit, situated in Lilydale, consists of two modern and well equipped theatres and forms part of the wider Eastern Health Surgical Program. Theatre lists include Ophthalmology, General, Urology, Gynaecology and Plastic surgery.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Current APHRA registration
- Post Graduate qualifications in Peri-operative nursing (preferred)
- Recent experience and knowledge of the perioperative environment
- Strong commitment to quality patient care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
