Access theRole detailsThe Child and Youth Mental Health Service at the Mackay Community Health Centre are seeking applications for a Perinatal Infant Mental Health Clinician (Senior Occupational Therapist or Senior Psychologist or Senior Social Worker or Clinical Nurse Consultant) to join their team on a permanent basis.How to apply and for mandatory requirements regarding this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityThe Perinatal Infant Mental Health Clinician is a senior Social Worker/Psychologist/Occupational Therapist or Clinical Nurse Consultant who demonstrates high-level knowledge and expertise in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care at an advanced level.The Perinatal Infant Mental Health Clinician (Senior Social Worker/Psychologist/Occupational Therapist) is expected to demonstrate an advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice and decision making in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This specialist role will work within the community setting, delivering clinical care in accordance with the CYMHS Model of Service, Mackay Mental Health, Alcohol & other Drugs division. This role will leverage both internal and external partnerships to work collaboratively in optimising care for infants who are at risk of severe and complex Mental Health problems and disorders, and their families and carers.The Perinatal Infant Mental Health Clinician will report organisationally to the team leader of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS).About our Hospital and Health Servicehas 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose Health Services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
