Perioperative Graduate Nurse Program 2024 Mid-Year Intake | St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital
- Employment Term: offering permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) opportunities
- Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city
- Enrolled Nurse Remuneration: $34.80 per hour + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
- Registered Nurse Remuneration: $40.45 per hour + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

As part of the Perioperative Graduate Nurse Program, you will have the opportunity to work with a world-renowned health care team in one of Queensland’s most complex and high acuity hospital environments. We offer world-class health care to families across Queensland and from interstate and are leaders in Cardiac services, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery (including deep brain stimulation), Vascular surgery and Rehabilitation. Over the course of your 12-month program, you can expect to be exposed to varied and exciting work. You will be provided the support and opportunity to consolidate your skills and learning, to deliver safe and holistic person-centred care, apply best clinical practice and ensure a safe environment for patients. Working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, you will apply your exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Consolidate your skills:
We are offering part-time (0.8 FTE) opportunities to Registered and Enrolled Nurses in Perioperative departments.
Our non-rotational 12-month program will provide you with a deep, rich learning experience, supported by experienced staff who care about your future. As a high-acuity, specialist facility, our program will allow you to focus on developing your clinical expertise in your chosen speciality.
You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience and build your skills in one of our Procedural areas.

- To have completed your Diploma of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing between June 2023 and July 2024
- To hold registration with AHPRA by 31st July 2024
- Flexibility to work a full rotating roster in a part-time 0.8 FTE position
