About this opportunity:
Programmed Care are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team to provide ongoing critical nursing care to a female client living in Haberfield in Sydney's West. This client is a ventilated quadriplegic in her 50s and requires 24/7 care.
The following shifts are currently available, with the potential for shifts on other days and overnights to also become available.
- Friday 15:00 to 23:00
- Saturday 07:00 to 15:00
- Saturday 15:00 to 23:00
- Sunday 15:00 to 23:00
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ventilator Care
- Medication administration
- Tracheostomy care
- Bowel care
- Catheter care (SPC)
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Community access
Key requirements:
- Current nursing registration from AHPRA
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience working with high dependency patients in an acute, critical care or community setting
- Be comfortable working in a home environment with a cat
- Committed to working regular ongoing shifts
