About the role: The Perioperative Services Unit Manager is an integral part of the Procedural Areas Leadership team. You will provide support, leadership, management and governance to the nursing and ancillary teams while working with our VMO community to provide amazing care for our patients. You will provide advanced skills and knowledge to support staff and surgeons in the smooth running of lists with a focus on patient safety and best outcomes. A core component of the role is leadership for the team as well as developing sound procurement and human resource principles. The ability to provide ongoing education to junior staff is essential to ensure success in this role. The Theatre Manager is required to work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in a culture that promotes Calvary’s values.
