About The Centre:
We are a dedicated and passionate childcare centre located in Penshurst, NSW, offering a nurturing and educational environment for children. Our centre is designed to cater to 37 children across two rooms, providing personalised care and developmentally appropriate programs for ages 0-2 and 3-5. We are committed to excellence in Early Childhood Education and are looking for a Centre Director who shares our vision and values.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, children, and the community.
- Manage enrolments, staffing, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Education (or working towards ECT) - recognised by ACECQA.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications.
- Proven leadership experience, such as working as a 2IC or similar role.
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
