WPH Service Director /Nominated Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join us as a full-time Bradbury Service Director. In this role, you will get to be part of the process of opening a Brand New early years Service with a focus in Nature Curriculum and Adventurous play.

You will also play a pivotal part in driving effective service business performance, ensuring high-quality outcomes for families, children, and our team members. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, planning, and implementing strategies in collaboration with all stakeholders. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and relevant legislation and regulations.

We are looking for someone who embraces change and innovation, encourages continuous improvement, and is committed to their own personal growth and development in early childhood leadership. A high value for aesthetics and maintaining beautiful environments for children is essential.

Our Bradbury service caters for children aged 0 to 5 years. Our service's feature an abundance of indoor space with dedicated outdoor spaces specifically designed for each age group. Families are welcomed into a calm oasis, surrounded by amazing nature, light and space, and enveloped by a lush Children’s Kitchen and Garden. Close to public transport and with parking available on-site, our centre provides convenience and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Build your own team with support from Head Office Team
  • Drive effective service business performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve high-quality outcomes for families, children, and team members
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and relevant legislation and regulations
  • Encourage and support a culture of change, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Foster a nurturing and aesthetically pleasing environment for children
  • Promote and support the professional growth and development of team members.

Of course, you will need:
  • Australian working rights
  • At least 2 years of previous directing experience 
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check 
  • A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education that is recognised by ACECQA
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation 
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices 
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates 
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) 
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
