PERMANENT FULLTIME/PART TIME ACCOUNTANT POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team on a fulltime or part time basis.
The person we are seeking is dedicated and has a solid common sense approach to financial control. Located in modern offices in the heart of the CBD, the role will involve the accounting and administration function for private family offices and not for profit organisations.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assistance in the preparation of statutory accounts
- Audit preparation and liaison
- Company Secretarial duties, preparation of agendas and minutes
- Accounts payable and receivable functions
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll function
- Superannuation guarantee compliance
- Reconciling and preparing Business Activity Statement calculations
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- CPA or CA qualified is essential.
- Strong business accounts knowledge
- Extremely efficient, organised and enjoy the pace of a busy and varied workplace
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines and a high attention to detail is a must
- High level knowledge of MYOB, Xero, Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
