Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specialising in blue & white collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries.We currently have an opportunity for an exceptional HSE Advisor to join our one of our trusted clients!
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for all Health & Safety matters on site. You will assist in maintaining and recording all relevant paperwork relating to HSE, ensuring all employees have a safe working environment and ensuring best practices are followed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide instruction, training and advice on all matters of HSE
- Ensure adherence to site policies and procedures
- Liaise with stakeholders including authorities and government agencies
- Review, assess and develop safe working methods
- Promote occupational health and safety
- Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
- Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site
- Assist with return-to-work plans
- Identify and test work areas for hazards and implement control measures
- Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
- Cert IV Training Assessing (116 essential)
- White Card
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of workplace Occupational Health & Safety
- Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check
- Have access to a vehicle
- Minimum intermediate level across the Microsoft office suite of programs
- Previous experience within HSE databases
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
