SalarySunnyside House is a 40-bed residential Aged Care service set in the picturesque surroundings of Camperdown, Victoria. Residents are cared for by a committed, professional team striving to deliver an envied quality of life for our residents.
We have multiple Part-time Registered Nurse position vacant, working morning, afternoon and evening shifts to suit your preferred hours. Reporting to our Care Manager, the purpose of the role is to ensure the highest possible standards of nursing and personal care are provided to all residents.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience working in an aged care service, preferably including palliative care and high care
- Leadership, clinical management and advanced assessment skills
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Highly organised, self-motivated and flexible
- Current understanding of the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control
- Current knowledge of wound care
- A current National Criminal History Record Check, current Flu vaccination, and COVID-19 vaccinations (or be willing to obtain).
