What is required from you as the successful Registered Nurse:
- AHPRA registered as Div1 Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Passion to work in aged care.
- Exposure to dealing with families and managing complaints.
- Excellent documentation skills
- Compliant with Australian Aged Care vaccination requirements
- A current Australian Police check.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with facility policies
- Supervise and mentor AINs and other care staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support residents with engagement in lifestyle and wellness activities
- Exhibit a passionate, caring, and empathetic personality
- Ensure flu and Covid-19 vaccination (including booster shot) records are up to date
