Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. As an RN at our Aged Care Facility, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care, monitoring residents' health conditions, administering medications, and coordinating care plans to ensure the well-being and comfort of our elderly residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care and support to elderly residents in accordance with their individual care plans and needs.
- Monitor residents' health conditions, assess changes in health status, and respond promptly to any concerns or emergencies.
- Administer medications accurately and ensure compliance with medication protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate care plans and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver holistic care to residents.
- Act as the nurse in charge during the night shift, overseeing the delivery of care and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
- Document and maintain accurate medical records and reports in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly residents and their families.
- Ability to work independently and take on leadership responsibilities during the night shift.
