Permits Officer
Red Rock Recruitment is seeking someone passionate within the residential building industry who enjoys the process from concept to handover. As Permits Officer you will be working with a recognised industry leader and offered an excellent career path. You will be responsible for ensuring all the boxes are ticked throughout the building application and development process.
You will be regularly liaising with Certifiers and Councils to support the business in all aspects of applications and development to deliver projects to customers.
This role is offering $65 000 - $75 000/annum with an immediate start on offer.
The role is Work from Home (WFH), with one day per week spent in the office.
Don't have all the experience? That's ok, support and training will be offered to the right candidate.
Essential tasks would be -
- Submitting building and development applications
- Liaising with Building Certifiers and Councils
- Keeping applications moving in a timely matter
- Working through issues and conditions with relevant parties
- Following up on Approvals
- Monitoring the progress of applications
Ideal Candidate -
- Strong communication skills oral and written
- Good time management and organisation
- Previous experience with certifiers, councils and their process highly regarded
- Understanding of residential building applications and development approvals
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- High attention to detail
