We are looking for a driven, friendly and experienced candidate to join our administration team, in a full time capacity, as a Personal Assistant to our Specialist Doctors.
Your role will be to provide exceptional support to our Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. This includes;
- Managing specialist's diary and schedule.
- Schedule and organise surgical bookings.
- Liaise with anaesthetists, surgical assistants and book necessary equipment.
- Oversee patient billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure the Doctor's room is appropriately stocked.
- Handle insurance claims and liaise with Medicare and Health Insurance providers.
- Managing exceptions and rejections.
- Experience using Eclipse would be desirable.
- Experience using Clinic to Cloud would be desirable.
- Send correspondence to referrers and third parties.
- Provide additional support to administration team as required as part of the daily operations of the practice.

Previous experience in:
- General Practice, Allied Health or Specialist Medical Practice preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of medical software
- High level phone etiquette
- Understanding of medical terminology preferred
- High level governance of sensitive/confidential information
- Understanding of Medicare, item numbers and private health fund claiming
- Understanding of the principles of work health and safety
