Your new company

This established Australian Bank values its members, putting them and their communities first. Providing quality banking, loan and investment services, this mutual bank is socially responsible and Australian-owned and operated. They are looking to engage some branch support for their locations in Western Sydney.

Your new role

As a Personal Banker you will be based in their Parramatta branch and when required, will assist their Penrith and Rouse Hill branches.

• Executing a high level of customer service in branch, while providing information on all financial service products
• Completing initial applications for personal loans & credit cards
• Identifying products and services best suited to the customer from home loans to insurance
• Opening/closing general accounts and assisting with other product queries
• Working closely with the team putting the customer first using your excellent communication and customer service skills

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Worked in a branch-based role previously with teller experience
• Tier 2 Accreditation
• Experience working with Teller Cash Recycler and Ultracs banking system is preferred but not essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a genuine interest in financial services
• A passion to do the right thing and work as a team
