About the Role:
As an Assistant in Nursing/Personal Care Assistant, you'll be the ray of sunshine in the lives of our elderly residents at their Aged Care Facility. Your job? Well, it's all about providing that personal touch - from helping with daily tasks to offering a listening ear when it's needed most.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Assisting residents with everyday things like showering, dressing, and meds (if needed).
- Being there for them emotionally and making each day a little brighter.
- Keeping an eye on their wellbeing and letting the nurses know if something's up.
- Documenting their progress and cheering them on every step of the way.
- Building awesome relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
What we need you to have and what you bring:
- A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent (as a minimum)
- A minimum of 12 months previous aged care experience is a must.
- A current National Police Check
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current WWC Check
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- A heart full of compassion and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- The ability to adapt to whatever the day throws your way - we're all about rolling with the punches!
- A knack for problem-solving and a can-do attitude.
- Basic computer skills - nothing too fancy, just enough to keep things running smoothly.
- Full working rights for Australia

Pay Rates: $35.83phr (Day), $39.41phr (Afternoon), $40.13phr (Night), $50.16phr (Sat) & $57.33phr (Sun).
