About the role
We are seeking experienced, friendly and self-motivated Personal Care Assistants to support our residents with activities of daily living. Your primary focus will be to provide excellent care, whilst empowering residents to do as much as they can for themselves. You will assist residents in meeting their potential and supporting them to enjoy each day in a meaningful way.
Skills & experience
- Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent
- Previous experience working in aged care
- Effective & compassionate communication style to interact with residents, families, employees and volunteers
- Ability to engage residents in meaningful activities, considering their individual needs, stage of life, development & strengths
- Strong interpersonal skills
