We currently have immediate openings for casual Support Workers in a hospital environment located in Malvern, Victoria.
About the role:
- Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support patient mobility and transfers.
- Provide continence care and oral hygiene assistance.
- Monitor patients, report changes, and maintain a clean environment.
- Offer emotional support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Follow infection control protocols diligently.
- Document care provided accurately and timely.
About you
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Health Services Assistance.
- Must have previous experience in acute care (Essential)
- A minimum of 12 months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a hospital setting.
- Be eligible to work in Australia.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Clear police check and working with vulnerable people check or working with children check.
