About the role

Due to continued growth in our Home Care team, new opportunities have come available for experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our Home Care team on a either a part-time or full-time basis. Working up to 38 hours per week over a rotating fort-nightly roster, this role will see you travelling to people’s homes and providing in-Home Care and cleaning duties as allocated in their care-plans.

As the ideal candidate, you will bring previous experience in Aged or Disability Care. You will be comfortable travelling to our clients’ homes to deliver our services which will primarily include cleaning and basic care and will have a reliable and fully insured vehicle.

ARRCS will be looking for staff who are kind and compassionate with their approach to our clients. People who are understanding and supportive of their needs whilst, able to interpret and understand their care-plans and stick to the delegated services.

Skills & experience:

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following:

  • Prior experience in assisting with the elderly or disabled within community. 
  • NT Drivers license and access to a reliable and fully insured vehicle.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Including the ability to use remote devices and Apps. 
  • Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
