With Workforce Extensions North Adelaide Health, you will join a supportive team working to deliver high quality care to Residential Aged Care, Community and Facility work. We are mainly looking for Personal Care Workers who will service the Southern and far Northern suburbs of Adelaide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, among others. The role also involves providing companionship, emotional support, and ensuring that the clients' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
About you:
Successful candidates will have a passion for providing a high level of care within Aged Care, and will possess the following:
- Certificate 3 / 4 in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent (Nursing students are welcome.)
- Current National Police Check
- Up to date Covid and Flu Vaccine. (Minimum 3 Covid shots. And annual flu shot.)
- Prof of your rights to work in Australia. (AUS passport/birth certificates, or foreign passport with your AUS visa.)
- DHS work with Children.
- First Aid Certification
- BLS: Provide basic emergency life support.
- Hand Hygiene
- Manual Handling
- Covid Infection Control
- NDIS screening & orientation
- Must have drivers Licence
Success candidates needs to obtain the following requirements:
- Experience in providing Personal Care to clients in a healthcare setting.
- Good knowledge of aged care and disability care practices and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
- Flexibility to work on a rostered basis, including weekends and public holidays.
