The Opportunity
Due to an increase in occupancy, we have a number of opportunities available for Personal Care Workers to join our team at our Tweed Heads Facility, nestled in the hills of Bilambil Heights. With Full Time, Part Time and Casual roles available across, morning, night and evening shift, this key role within focuses on enriching the lives of our residents through assisting them with their daily needs. We offer professional development learning programs to grow and develop your skills and career, offering an exciting opportunity for all candidates- young, middle aged and mature- we foster a culture whereby everyone's learning journey is different and can be paced to set everyone up for success long term.
Working closely with and supported by the clinical, lifestyle and hospitality teams, you will work with limited direct supervision and be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner which enables residents to make choices and have control over their support needs.
About You

What is essential however is that you have relevant qualifications, are resident centric, and have the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also offer;
- Relevant Cert III OR have completed 1st year nursing studies.
- You will have innate empathy for our residents and be committed to continually improving the quality of care and the social environment provided to them.
- Maintain the dignity and respect of residents at all times whilst delivering care.
- Strong communicator who is committed to high standards of customer service.
- Proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplace
- Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times
