Collar Group is currently hiring passionate Personal care Workers/Assistant in Nursing (PCW/AIN) to join our Residential Aged Care workforce
What will I be doing?
- Personal care of residents in residential Aged Care facilities / retirement villages
- Assisting RNs with documentation of vital signs, medication administration and resident assessments
- Assisting with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
- Family and resident education
- Infection control and prevention
- Palliative care, restorative care and pain management
- Assisting in admission and easing the transition for residents and their families
- Liaising with residents’ family, doctors, and allied health professionals
- Receiving generous pay & penalty rates
- Ad hoc work & blocks available
- Flexible to work AM/PM/Nights & rotating rosters
- Cert III in Aged care or Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent
- COVID Vaccination (including at least one booster)
- Flu Vaccination
- First aid & CPR
- 6 months minimum full-time experience of working in Aged Care as an PCW in Australia
- Current Police Check (under 12 months old)
- NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Reliable vehicle & full driving license or happy to take public transport to assignment (including flying)
