About the role:
The Personal Care Worker provides essential and practical care to help mecwacare clients to live independently in their own home. Essential criteria:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability or completion of first year Bachelor of Nursing studies and First Aid Level 2.
- Current driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.
- A Smartphone.
- Ability to relate to older people and flexibility around the changing needs of clients.
Desirable but not essential:
- Current WWC Card and an interest in working with children with complex needs.
- Current Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check or willingness to apply for an NDIS check.
