The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced In-home Community Support Domestic Assistant or Support Worker to provide a range of care and services designed to meet our clients’ needs and goals in a flexible and supportive manner. shifts and support new starters in shifts.
The role may include mentoring new starters, filling in cancellations and assisting with personal care, Home Care tasks (change bedding, cleaning bathrooms etc..), meal preparation, dusting, mopping, socialisation and other responsibilities.
You will be rostered in the suburbs around Box Hill and eastern regions and may also be expected to pick up casuals or cancelled shifts as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Can assist in all activities of daily living- based upon the clients needs and goals- including:
- Personal care
- Cleaning duties
- Meal preparation
- Domestic assistance
- Socialization activities
- Available to work minimum 3x days per week
- Available to commence ASAP

You must have:
- National Police Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Up to date COVID Vaccinations
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Victorian driver’s license with reliable car
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Be available to work minimum 3x days per week
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Support Worker or Domestic Assistant
- Comply with OH&S instructions and healthAbility’s policies & procedures
