AddressWe operate an 80 BED residential aged care facility that is dedicated to helping our residents live the fullest, most active lives possible. We offer several levels of care, including those for patients with memory disorders. We’re currently seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our staff. The successful candidate will look forward to the opportunity to engage with our residents and see to their every need. We’re looking for a motivated individual who can take initiative in creating new programs for our residents and work cooperatively with the rest of our staff to ensure all residents receive proper care.
Aged Care Worker responsibilities
- Provide our residents with assistance as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom
- Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy
- Communicate any problems, concerns, or issues to residents’ family members as needed
- Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers
- Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections and showing interest in their lives
- Respond to any safety or medical issues
- Lead daily group and individual activities for entertainment
