AddressSouthern Cross Care QLD have an opportunity for you to join our SCCQ family as a casual Aged Care Worker in the role of a Personal Carer based at our Carinya Residential Aged Care Home in Miles, in QLD's Western Downs region.
Working under the direction of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, as a Personal Carer you will be providing person centred, high quality care to our residents. You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual residents needs.

Any additional role/s will be subject to appropriate training, and any request will be considered based on relative business needs. Additional roles may include Lifestyle, Catering Assistant/Cook and/or Domestic Assistant.
- You will hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (desirable)
- Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
- You will have an understanding of Aged Care and Residents rights and responsibilities
- You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
- You will work well within a team environment and have a friendly approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
- You must be flexible with your availability of days and shift times
